This one-day session is designed for clinicians in the orthodontic field who are interested in learning more about Temporary Orthodontic Anchorage Systems and applications. This hands-on course will consist of case selection, diagnosis, treatment planning and mechanics.

The Temporary Orthodontic Anchorage Systems Hands-on Course will demonstrate how to:

  • Achieve a wide range of orthodontic movement without the need for extraoral appliances 
  • Place and remove temporary anchors and attachments with little to no anesthetic
  • Shorten treatment time and reduce the need for pateint compliance 
  • Learn to treat a variety of cases including:
    • Molar intrusion
    • Molar uprighting
    • Treatment of canted occlusal plane
    • Extraction cases
    • Direct and indirect anchorage
