Orthodontic Training Facility
The Straight Wire Seminars™ orthodontic training facility is located within the headquarters of our strategic partner, Ortho Organizers® in Carlsbad, California. Designed specifically to facilitate learning, the spacious training room, more than 2,000 square feet, features state of the art audio-visual capabilities as well as wi-fi internet access. In addition, many of the courses offer a tour of the Ortho Organizers manufacturing facility that showcases how many orthodontic products are manufactured. Included on the tour is the factory floor where the metal injection mold (MIM) process is utilized to create brackets. The manufacturing floor also produces molar bands, and welding is done in-house to create custom band assemblies. In addition, the facility produces elastomerics such as ligatures and separators. The tour concludes with the O2 Orthodontic Laboratory™ where you will learn how a lab case is handled from start to finish.
The high-tech orthodontic training facility is located just moments from the beach in northern San Diego county and offers a great way to combine orthodontic continuing education and a vacation.
