Today's dental industry has many doctors expanding their practice to provide more services to their patients, with the benefit of maintaining greater control over their patients' care.
By attending this 8 session beginning orthodontics course, you will learn a wider variety of treatment options, which will give you the potential to increase your revenue up to $250,000 annually*. You will also learn to identify which orthodontic cases to treat and which to refer. This course will include both lecture and hands-on demonstration to ensure that you have the knowledge to take your orthodontic cases from start to finish. Following the course, you will have the opportunity to continue interacting with Dr. Corbett and your peers through an Advanced Study Club.
Upon completion of this course you will:
- Know how to take records, evaluate, diagnose and plan treatments for routine orthodontic cases
- Have a thorough understanding of the history and use of Straight Wire appliances
- Be able to identify complex orthodontic cases for referral to a specialist
- Understand the goals, diagnosis and timing for early treatment in mixed dentition cases
- Know how to use basic tools to place orthodontic brackets and appliances on patients
- Learn about arch development techniques to minimize extractions
* based on six starts per month at $3,500 per case.
